The hype around the Porchetta sandwich is valid. Michelle and Mimmo don't have to be so accommodating when they serve food like they do but they do it anyway. Very happy visit to the Riders Rest today.

There's nothing like it ! The food speaks for itself ! Went for their signature dish - porchetta - Italian slow roasted pork I've nothing to add to the glowing reviews except for a special mention for the lady doing front of house (I think she's one of the owners - absolute joy) she was so busy and always courteous and friendly (as was the young lady waiting on).

Great find in Wellow village. Friendly service and amazing food. Wonderful porchetta baguettes or Paninis. Perfect place to buy authentic Italian speciality deli items. We would highly recommend dropping in to see Michele and Mimmo, you wont regret your decision.

Rode our bikes here from Bristol on the old railway line. Not usually open on Mondays but they are on bank holidays. Cafe is on a farm next to stables overlooking the horse exercise yard. They have plenty of secure bike racks and tables inside and out. Good range of snacks, coffee and meals including gluten free options and Italian food by the friendly owners.

The porchetta sandwhich is to die for, they have different options for fillings etc but even just with the meat it’s so flavourful. They have a variety of italian desserts and lovely coffee too. Michelle and Mimmo are truly fantastic, they make you feel welcome and look after you.
